Marina Rustow, a founding member of MARBAS, successfully applied for $150,000 from the NEH Humanities Initiatives at Colleges and Universities program on behalf of MARBAS. Of 81 submitted proposals, MARBAS is one of only 5 projects to receive funding.

The NEH funding will allow MARBAS to aggregate and support research and teaching with original premodern texts and objects.
